I personally think the ASA Local CA is probably beyond the scope of the current lab but there are not very many documents showing this feature so we wanted to provide it here for everyone.

Oops, my mistake, the CA’s in Yusuf’s labs are both on IOS. Configuring CA on the ASA is definitely on the expanded checklist, though.

The IOS CA server definitely is on the 3.0 blueprint. The blueprint itself only says “Configure CA (PKI)” but the official Cisco expanded checklist reads “Enabling the CA (PKI) Server (on the Router and Cisco ASA Security Appliance)”

It’s also included in one of Yusuf’s official practice labs, and in the mock lab he gave at Cisco Live this year. I would *definitely* make sure you’re prepared to configure it in your real lab.
